Peds’10 year anniversary + networking event
On 30th November 2024, PEDS celebrated its 10th anniversary at The Farmers in Yaxley, following a last-minute change of venue due to flooding at Ferry Meadows. Despite the unexpected shift, the event was a resounding success.
Visitors were warmly welcomed by PEDS Patron Sister Erika Perini and Pedsie the Lion. The celebration was officially opened by PEDS Patron Michelle Collins and expertly hosted by Jeremy Sallis. The event featured welcome speeches by PEDS Co-founders, followed by a Q&A session with patrons and trustees.
The screening of the PEDS video "Control" captivated the audience, after which participants enjoyed a variety of activities, including a delicious roast, entertainment, networking opportunities, interviews, and photo sessions. Live music was provided by the band Tennessee Twin, followed by performances from singers Ayesha Patel and Millie Scott.
The evening concluded with a raffle and acknowledgements. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous raffle sponsors, whose contributions helped make the event even more special. Your support is greatly appreciated.
We were also delighted to be joined by our service users, the local community, our partners, and colleagues from the NHS and local authorities. Their presence added to the warmth and significance of the celebration.
Overall, the 10th Anniversary celebration was a memorable event, marking a decade of impactful work by PEDS.
We are thrilled to share that our anniversary celebration made it to the front page of The Evening Telegraph. You'll be able to read about it here.
